well i post answers to questions asked. pretty much every question that i find that is and IG question. if there is a debate going on then i will read the thread and make any points that i feel need made, then i will defend them against people who refute them. this gives me a reasonable post count and a reputaion as a loadmouthed, self absorbed and sometimes arrogant bugger.
many people whith the likes of 50posts per day make most of their posts along the lines of: f***ing n00b, dumb idea, won't work. look for rude and/or very short posts that do not make any kind of point.
i agree with Sanji. regulars on the board will know worthwhile posters and pointless trollers. rank means very little.

Take the Off-Topic forum off the post count and you will see a major drop in qualifide posts. Most of the post counts are from this forum. I know mine are! Personally I do not care what my post count is. It serves no real purpose.

...wow...my first post on the forums just happens to be on the excessive posting thread. anyway. sometimes people just spend all their time on forums talking about a game instead of actually playing the game. i never spend time on game forums for this reason. i'd rather play gw than talk about gw. lol

Don't hate because you don't have our n00b spam skills! If your forum rank isn't high enough, go spam. Not that forum rank matters. We are all equal here, right? *ducks*

Why are there people who have only been here for a month or 2 and have ridiculously high forum ranks. Some of those ranks require 2000+ posts if I remember correctly.
I dunno, am I the only one who thinks that is kind of sad?

That dude was supposed to be banned.
As for posts: Look around all of my post outside of the off-topic forum (about 500+) were not 1 liners at all or any of that shit. As for trading I know a lot of people who have10+ posts per day in that 1 forum (some with even 20+) so.
EDIT: For the record most of my 15 posts per day have mostly been in this forum for the past week or so (it isn't hard if you just check in every 30 miniutes or so when doing something else, or if you get into a real dicussion)

How about adding a requirement that a person have x number of threads started by them for promotion in addition to post count?
Threads that end up deleted by admins don't count.
This way we're assured they're at least contributing content somewhere.
Maybe posts that are less than 12(?) characters don't count.

Well I have like 20 threads started so far (outside of trade and OT) so I think i'm deservign of my rank. I'm about to start a petition to get my own special title as they won't promote me to moddom.

What will REALLY flip your noodle is this:
Look up all the mods you see online (online list, black names). Now look at their join date versus say, me, or you, and then marvel at that a bit
